The 2nd User Forum was hold in London on 11th and 12th of March 2013. The event took place in the Thistle Euston Hotel.

Objectives: The goal of EUDAT is to build a sustainable cross-disciplinary and cross-national Collaborative Data Infrastructure (CDI) providing a set of shared services to access and preserve research data. After one year of activity EUDAT has designed a first set of data services to support research communities, based on requirements gathered from communities in biomedical science, earth science, environmental science, climate modeling, and linguistics.  These services are: safe replication, access to HPC (data staging), metadata, and simple store. The objective of the EUDAT User Forum was to provide a platform for discussing, refining, and extending this first set of services, as well as engaging with new communities willing to take part to the discussion and design of the future CDI
