The EUDAT “Data Curation and long term preservation in a federated environment” task has collected policy descriptions from a number of external projects and institutions in order to (1) make a risk analysis and (2) to select a number of policies we can use to test the performance and flexibility of the EUDAT infrastructure. Together with information on the core communities a risk analysis has been performed to gain insight into which risks are covered and which are not. This, together with other requirements, will be used as input to define a set of selection criteria used to make a selection of the gathered policy descriptions. The selected policies are then to be implemented and evaluated in the EUDAT infrastructure to test its performance and flexibility.
