Last month was incredibly stimulating for EUDAT and its community: we welcomed 5 new CDI members, showcased our services at IDCC 2017, and important events coming soon are being planned, such as the upcoming research data annotation tool webinar, the EUDAT semantic working group Workshop (co-located event with the 9th RDA Plenary) and the EUDAT Summer School in July.

The 1st EUDAT Summer School is confirmed to take place this Summer 2017, from 3 to 7 July 2017. Set in the stunning landscapes of Crete, it will consist of 5 full days of workshops, presentations, trainings with EUDAT experts…with the perks of the Cretan culture! From 21 to 23 February 2017, IDCC 2017 took place in Edinburgh, Scotland, offering a rich programme of workshops. In this occasion, EUDAT held the workshop "How EUDAT services support FAIR data", with the aim to explore how our service portfolio can help making data FAIR. 5 new members are now officially part of the EUDAT CDI, which now counts more than 20 major European research organisations, data and computing centres that have signed an agreement to sustain the EUDAT for the next 10 years. Click here to learn more about the CDI.
